For example, someone could create work stepped in both Afrofuturism and Transfuturism, envisioning a future that centers Black, trans folks specifically. These movements provide powerful tools for both critiquing the present and imagining better, more inclusive futures in which the marginalized are empowered. They challenge existing narratives and offer alternatives that push for social change in the present.
